Today was a major workshop day in New Orleans. We started off with some workshops at Grace King High School. We did two workshops with students, first with the younger high school students and then with some older high schools students. After school we did a small workshop with some teachers and a vice principal who were interested in learning how CodeHS works on the teacher side. There was a small break in between where we had lunch at Parkman Poor Boys (got a po boy there), and then walked around the French Quarter for a bit. We then had a workshop with an Ed Tech meetup with a handful of students, teachers and parents getting a chance to get started on CodeHS. The night closed off with some pizza and a visit to some live music on Frenchmens as well as round two of beignets at Cafe du Mond.
