I started today off by working in a coffeeshop called Intelligentsia in Venice Beach. My computer died there, and they also had blocked off all of the outlets, so I needed to go somewhere else. A guy a met who was working next to me (he was a writer) recommended that I drive up the 1 on the beach up to Malibu. So I did that.
It was a nice drive up there. Stopped by and took some pictures around Malibu. I headed back down towards Santa Monica, where I worked at Swingers and had some veggie chili for dinner. It was a really cool spot, and I tried to take a picture, at which point the waitress told me that I couldn’t do that here since they got a lot of celebrities.
Saw an Upright Citizens Brigade show at 11 in West Hollywood. What a fun show. Hung out right around there for a bit before heading back.
