Today was a day in LA. I started by visiting the Snapchat offices, and then headed over to El Segundo, CA to do a workshop at El Segundo High School with the programming club. It was the first workshop of the trip, so I wasn’t quite sure how it was going to go–but it went really well. The feedback from the students was really positive, both from students who were totally new to programming and others who had some experience.
I worked a bit more today on improving the peer grading experience on the site as well, and had dinner over Swingers, the same 24-hour diner as before. Louisville wins the NCAA championship in a very close game. A fun and busy day!
